Unconscious Manifesting, Fractured-Selves, and Forgiveness:

How to stop the Karmic Cycle of Pain and Suffering

by Ellie Drew

A young woman sees her beloved dog being brutally killed; the husky was Maria's constant companion and best friend in the lonely cold of Siberia. In her extreme emotional pain she lashes out the thought, "Love is too painful, I'll never love again."

A miner was doing his job as a detonations worker. Murray pushes down the T-detonation device like he'd done many times before. He didn't know that this time it would cause the accidental death of thirty men, women and children. In his extreme emotional pain he lashes out the thought, "I can never forgive myself. I have to pay for these thirty lives."

A baby has a high fever that won't go down. Iona is immersed in an ice bath as health care works try to save her life. In her extreme distress she lashes out the thought, "I'm never warm."

A young farmer was out plowing his field walking behind an ox when he hears screams from the homestead. Derek rushes home only to find that his wife and two small children are lying outside on the ground, blood everywhere. He was too late to do anything. They had been killed. In his extreme emotional pain he lashes out the thought, "I'm not a good husband and father. No one is safe with me. I couldn't protect them. I'm better off alone."

Everyday unexpected and painful situations happen, and everyday unconscious manifesting happens resulting in fractured people living out self-created karmic life cycles. In the examples above, Maria could never allow herself to love or be loved. Later in life she got into an unhappy marriage to a physically and emotionally abusive man, and repeated this for multiple lifetimes. In her constant misery she lashed out another unconscious and emotionally empowered thought, "Life without love isn't worth living. I don't want to live any longer." Her body agreed. In this lifetime Maria manifested lupus disease – the body trying to kill its self.

The miner, Murray, was on this third lifetime of "paying his debt" for the thirty lost lives by the time I met him. He had a terrible form of skin cancer as if he was burned all over. In this and two previous lives he manifested his skin either being burned away, or the odd form of skin cancer. The baby Iona had multiple experiences as she was growing up where she was immersed in ice, reaffirming each time that she could "never be warm." In this lifetime she was born in Canada and as an adult she always wears a sweater or coat even in the summer because she "can never be warm." Derek, the young farmer, lived his lifetime alone and in deep grief after his family was killed. In this lifetime he is unhappy because he can't allow himself to be in a loving relationship without a feeling of danger to those close to him. Each time he has found a way to unconsciously sabotage his relationship never understanding why. He wants so badly to be in a loving relationship and have a family.

What is the explanation to these phenomena? And what can be done? The examples above are real life stories of people living with a fractured soul desperately wanting to be whole, and deeply frustrated at not understanding what has happened to create the situation in the first place. This article is an attempt to explain what a fractured soul is; how to prevent it from happening again by understanding the process by which we energize our thoughts during moments of extreme emotional distress that can cause a fractured soul; and what is necessary to heal a fractured soul.

What is a fractured soul, and how did it happen?

A fractured soul is an aspect of self that has broken off from the Whole Self and is living out self-created, usually negative, scenarios through one or more lifetimes, what we call karma, until wholeness is achieved again. Imagine your self as a flawless round mirror about the size of a dinner plate. In your perfect and most natural state you are creative, fully aware of your connectedness to Source, happy, fulfilled, curious, inventive, with a level of consciousness that reflects all the highest virtues. But mirrors can be broken.

To prevent fracturing the soul requires fundamental knowledge about the nature of your mind and the power of your emotions. Without this knowledge you are like a child playing with matches in the middle of a tinder dry forest, with the resulting painful consequences. It's not a matter of if a fire will happen, but when.

The stories at the beginning of this article had three common elements to them. Each person had a daunting, traumatic life experience; each experienced extreme emotional distress; and each person firmly declared a statement that they absolutely believed to be true in that moment. Call it an agreement. The moment the mind became focused like a laser and the declaration was stated firmly while being energized with out-of-control emotions, their mirrors were dropped, the match was lit and dropped into the dry tinder, a part of their soul fractured off, an agreement was made. The unintended consequence to those unconscious moments set up a resonance field that aligned each person to similar experiences of future pain and suffering. Unintentionally each person engaged a natural process that can be very powerfully beneficial if used consciously, or very destructive if used unconsciously.

This process has been my life's work since 1978 when I observed these same remarkable phenomena in both positive and negative ways in my own life when I thought I was just really good at praying. Here is what I observed and realized over time. That an external god isn't setting up our lives, we are. That there is some kind of natural, neutral, potential energy source that gets tapped into when five specific conditions are met. That the process happens nearly instantaneously, but the consequences can affect lifetimes. It took time and ceaseless determination to delve into this instantaneous process until finally, I could pull it apart and identify the individual components. For years I then experimented with the process working out the nuances and found that a resonance field is created nearly instantaneously when all the conditions are met, and that this vibrating resonance field naturally attracts similar vibrating resonance fields when available. We experience these vibrating fields as opportunities, and life experiences. I found that we aren't praying to some external god when we pray, but are aligning our thoughts, emotions and desires in such a way as to tap into the potential energy source, thus creating a resonance field permeating our energy field. Eventually I named it the Manifestation Process, but teach it as Conscious Manifesting as that is the ultimate goal.

While all five aspects of the Manifestation Process cannot be covered in this short article, the power of emotion shall be because it is the energy used to create fractured souls. If you don't learn control of your emotions they will control and manipulate your life. For the most part manifesting happens unconsciously during highly emotionally charged moments of pain and fear with an unintended consequence. During highly charged, focused, emotional states neutral energy particles begin to resonate to emotionalized thought, whether positive or destructive, creating a coherent resonance field. The more energized, focused and powerful the emotionalized thought being released into an energy field, the greater number of charged particles held in that energy field. The resonance field surrounds and permeates the person, place or thing until it is cleared. It sets up an energetic resonance field around your body as if to say, "Hey Universe, I want the opportunity to experience "love as painful; to never be warm; to pay for thirty deaths; I'm better off alone so others will be safe." The same raw emotional energy could be channeled into more positive opportunities to experience like, "Hey Universe, I'm always lucky; I want a magical life; I want a magical career; I want magical relationships." It is much better to appropriately learn how to use the power emotions provide for your benefit since universal energies are very impressionable to highly emotional states.

A place of worship takes on the resonance of peace and sacredness. A football stadium takes on the resonance of excitement - if it is a consistently winning team; or defeat - if it is a consistently losing team; or hope - if it goes both ways. A hospital takes on the resonance of the staff and the people coming into the hospital. A business takes on the resonance of its leadership. A classroom takes on the resonance of its teacher and their ability to inspire young minds. A house takes on the resonance of the members living there. A meditation chair takes on the resonance of meditation. A room and chairs where people are told that they have cancer takes on a resonance field of the fear of dying.

There is a manifesting principle that states that the biggest energy field wins. With that in mind, a healer holds within their field the resonance of health, healing, and love, which encourages the healee to resonate up to health. A charismatic person can hold a very large resonance field with an ability to influence in either positive or negative ways. With someone who is powerfully inspiring, others will feel inspired while listening to or being around that person. If someone is negative and cynical, then others will feel cynical and depressed as the result of listening to or being around them.

In each situation the same neutral universal energies were available to use. You have the ability to tap into Source to create very creative and beautiful resonance fields consciously. The greatest life to be lived is to create beauty all around you so that everything vibrates as harmonious (rather than discordant) resonance fields – your home, property and personal property; your personal relationships; your office and workspace. Permeate it all with beauty in the form of music, art, kindness, positive attitude, hope, and gratitude. Like attracts like. A positive person will always predominately attract other positive, inspired people and experiences. A negative person will always predominately attract other negative, cynical, depressed people and experiences. This is natural law.

But let us say that you are a positive person that keeps attracting some repeated pattern of something very negative. You are doing all the right things – you get moderate exercise and food, you take your vitamins, you look for the positive in all situations, you have good friends, you take self-help workshops and read the books. But . . . there's always a but like, "I never get promoted; I can't find my right mate; I'm always sick; I'm always running late; I . . . something." What is it that you often times catch yourself saying? "I always get red lights; I'm always last in line."

What happened is that during a moment of frustration, pain, fear, or anger you unconsciously met all five conditions of the Manifestation Process necessary to tap into the universal neutral potential energies. You used the emotional energy to empower a thought creating a resonance field matching the thought you unintentionally energized. Here's an example.

Say you were running late and in a hurry one day and forgot to pick up something at the store. You have to turn around, go back to get it,  but now the line is really long, so you are going to be late for an important commitment. In that moment of being tired and frustrated and stressed you have an unconscious, fully empowered, emotional thought, "This always happens to me. I'm so stressed." This empowered thought washes through your body, charging particles along the way to align to opportunities of "stress." Since you changed what had been neutral universal energies into a coherent resonance field of "this always happens to me" and "I'm so stressed," then that is what you will experience – over and over and over again in a frustratingly repeated pattern. Unconsciously, every time it happens again it triggers the same feeling inside of you and you re-energize the thought "See! This always happens to me!" which re-energizes the resonance field, like plucking the string on a guitar just when the vibration was about to stop.

While universal energies are inherently neutral, it might be good to train yourself into thinking that it's a "Yes Universe!" Live with an assumption that whatever thoughts you emotionally energize, and keep energizing, whether positive or destructive, will manifest as repeated opportunities for you to experience. If you energize, "Life sucks!" the Universe replies, "Well, if you're sure you want to experience more of that, okay. But hey, don't blame me for your request. You're the one in charge, not me. I'm only here to give you a playground to experience opportunities. Personally, I'd think you'd want to enjoy life more, but if misery is what you want then who am I to judge it? Your desire is granted."

How do you change your resonance field to create more life affirming opportunities? Easy. First, stop re-energizing your negative experiences and they will stop vibrating naturally. Then make sure you don't waste any negative emotional energy by trying to suppress it since it's unhealthy with other unintended consequences. Instead, use the emotionally charged "frustration energy" to energize what you do want. For example, you get another red light, you feel the emotion of frustration, you use that energy to powerfully wash through your body with the energized statement, "I always get GREEN lights!" Better yet energize, “I’m always lucky!” and you’ll get green lights as well as a whole lot more. Energize what you do want, not what you don't want. The process of maturity, given enough time and experience, gives you the wisdom to know what you want (most often times through the process of finding out what do not want); but always energize what you do want with whatever emotional energy is available for you to use.

Two more quick words of wisdom; first about manifesting using the word "want." You are not manifesting to be "in want" of something, unless you are incredibly foolish, or unconsciously using the Manifestation Process by energizing what you don't want. You are manifesting for what you want. Period. Use it. It's powerful. Also, make sure not to listen to any new age nonsense about using only so called positive emotions to manifest. Any emotional energy, positive or negative, is energy that you can use to your benefit. I've covered the use of more negative emotions earlier, so here are ways I use the positive emotional energies available that naturally occur in life – a concert during an emotionally moving crescendo, or a movie or inspiring talk that gets you all jazzed up. Also the energy available at sports games during a great play. Have your "wants" and desires well thought out ready to go for when an emotional opportunity presents itself. Personally I love to energize thoughts when my airplane is taking off because G-forces jazz me they are so powerful.

Healing a fractured soul through the power of forgiveness

Now that I've covered the basics of how a soul can become fractured, and hopefully get you started in a more productive use of negative emotions, it's time for healing. To heal a fractured soul you must move through a very specific process of forgiveness. You must have a sincere desire to heal; a sincere heart; and a way to use the power of forgiveness. One way is the Sacred Forgiveness Ceremony at a live event, or on DVD, or with your own inner guidance. You are guided through each of three forgivenesses, for all things real and perceived, in this lifetime and in all lifetimes. There is no need to remember everything you need to forgive because it would simply be impossible. Besides, your system will take care of the details. The ceremony can be very emotionally dramatic, or less so, but the impact of clearing is the same as long as it is done with a sincere heart.

Briefly, the first forgiveness is to forgive your self for all things real and perceived, in this lifetime and in all lifetimes. No one is harder on you than you. The second forgiveness is to ask other to forgive you for all things real and perceived, in this lifetime and in all lifetimes. The third forgiveness is to give others forgiveness for all things real and perceived, in this lifetime and in all lifetimes. The greatest damage to the soul I have seen is not in what happens to us personally. Soul damage happens when we see others suffering, especially those we have the greatest emotional ties to, like in three of the four examples at the beginning of this article.

Jesus, one of our greatest teachers, was pointing us in the direction of forgiveness as he suffered on the cross. He was reminding himself, as well as teaching us, of what we must do to remain intact as souls, to remain whole. He did not exclude himself for this important rite. "Forgive them for they know not what they do." It was as if he were saying to us, "Here is my last teaching to you, my beloved humanity, my final and greatest gift. In my personal pain and suffering I will do this thing even when it is hard and they have caused me the greatest of suffering, even unto my death. It must be done. It will be done. I will forgive. And then I will be free to live again in wholeness."

Forgiveness is truly a personally experienced sacred rite to healing your soul so that any fractured soul agreements don't continue to manifest out into other unhealthy lifetimes. It has the added benefit to leave you at peace as you finish out this lifetime. Forgiveness is the greatest healing gift you can give yourself because you will be free from the karmic life cycles of pain and suffering. The teaching of forgiveness is even greater than the teaching of love, because love is inherent to our Whole Self. It can't be given or taken; it is who we are at our essence. But forgiveness must be freely given even when it's the hardest thing we must do, just as Jesus did as he was dying on the cross. Jesus can't do this one for you. No one can do it for you; this is something you must do to save your self. Follow the Master. He pointed the way.
